Goal / Aidlink
The Goal / Aidlink St Patrick's Day Badge project is another major transition year project. In this project we sell St Patrick's Day Goal badges (see image above) in aid of Goal and Aidlink (two Irish Charities) at €2 each.

The Goal / Aidlink St Patrick's Day Badge Project 2007, which has been running for the past two months, has raised over €29,000. We would like to thank all the business and schools who gave very generous donations and made such an effort to sell badges in aid of GOAL and Aidlink. We will know the total amount that the project has raised for the two charities when we receive the money from all the newsagents around the country, organised by the Independent plc, in September.

Goal / Aidlink in Blackrock College
The students of Blackrock College have been involved with the GOAL-Aidlink St. Patrick's Day Badge project since 1989.(more background info)
The majority of the students invovled in this project are mainly involved in the selling of the St. Patrick's Day Badges. To run this massive project effectively the students are split up into different committees such as Direct Sales, National Schools, Secondary Schools and Over Seas. more
