U16 Hurling Team v terenure

Hard luck to the U16 hurling team who put up a great fight against Ternure last thursday. Unfortunately they had to win the match to progress from their group. There was some great performances from Niall Sweeney who scored 3 points from free's, Michael O'Dwyer and Cormac fenton who also had some fabulous scores and some fine defensive performances from Dane Fitzpatrick and Johnny O'Leary. A special mention to Jack O'Keffe who scored a phenomanal long range goal and topped it off with a world class celebration. Unfortunately Terenure had too much class and ran out convincing 9-17 to 3-5 winners.
