Green Schools
The Green Schools Committee has been formed again, with over 15 reps from different years. As always, the Transition Years have the greatest involvement.
The Current Green School Project is to continue to reduce the amount of contaminated recycling waste and to increase the amount of recycling. The school recycled 90 tonnes of waste while only throwing away 10 tonnes of regular, everyday waste. This is a massive achievement, but the thanks is due to the Maintenance staff. There are new bins in every corridor so please check your waste and put it in the correct bin.
The next goal of the Green School committee is to work towards the ultimate goal: the final green flag for water conservation. This will begin soon.
