Sea Life Bray
Today, 4.2 and 4.5 English classes went to Sea Life in Bray for a guided tour of the aquatic tanks.
Right from the start, there were exotic species of fish to be seen with a large tank in the reception/gift shop.
During the tour the students were shown an abundance of species of fish, sharks, eels, rays, seahorses and starfish.
The tour concluded with a presentation in front of their largest tank full of large sharks and other exotic species. The presenter talked about how sharks numbers are diminishing each year with just under 100,000,000 sharks being killed with about 70% of them being killed just for their fins.
Overall it was a very enjoyable experience for all.
