24 Hour Soccer Marathon

dscf7104Approximately 70 students from Transition Year participated in the 24 Hour Soccer Marathon in aid of Saint Vincent de Paul. All students gained sponsorship in order to participate.

All the money raised will go towards buying Christmas Hampers for those who otherwise might not be able to afford a Christmas dinner. We would like to thank all those who were kind enough to sponsor us in these difficult times. Your donations go to a very good cause. Keep an eye on rockty.com to find out more about our fundraising events throughout the year.

This year, the 24 hour soccer Marathon raised approximately €14,500! An incredible sum of money, which will be put to great use. Huge thanks to Mr. Brennan for organising this wonderful event.

We would also like to thank our keen photographers Frank Vaughan and George Brassil for the wonderful pictures they took throughout the Soccer Marathon, and Patrick Brennan for allowing the use of his high quality camera. To see the rest of the pictures please click here.
