Colts 1st vs Terenure college

On Wednesday the 12^th of October, the Transition year colts firsts played Terenure College. The match was intense and proved challenging to the Blackrock colts. Terenure were strong in their pack which proved a threat to the Blackrock scrum.

However, Blackrock put up a fight and dominated in the lineouts. However  terenure’s speed on the wings surpassed Rock's defence resulting in a 12-0 score at half time. Following half time, Rock gave it everything and brought the score to an equal seventeen all due to outstanding tries by Rory McEvoy (1), Oisin Brady (1) and Liam Quigley (1).Unfortunately, Blackrock could not secure victory and a lucky try in the last few minutes resulted in a victory for Terenure and a loss for Blackrock college, final score, 17-22.
