House XV VS Sedbergh

On Saturday, the House XV played Sedbergh. The game was a physical encounter both teams played well but Blackrock came out on top.

The game had some seriously mad tackles with Ian Kinsley and Daire Brady both get dumped on their heads by the Sedbergh captain. Jack Power in the first 5 minutes got tackled and unfortunately broke his collar bone, which   was a big loss to the team. Peter Shannon our strong hooker who had a great game with great line of running had to come off due to a blood injury. Thankfully, it didnt effect us to much because Geoff Moylan, the small bull, came on and played an excellent game, followed by Bob Hughes and Dane Fitzpatrick at half time who both had a good game. Dane got a penalty try and had a hard time when it came to the scrums as the Sedbergh loose head prop had great tenique. The match ended 36-5 and was a good day for the House XV
