- Well done to the Transition Year students involved in the Sailing Regatta. Congratulations to Jack Condon who captained his team of Evan Holland, Will Harvey and Rowan Maloney who came 1st overall. Commiserations to Hugh O’Connell and his team who came second overall.
- Well done to Cormac Stafford who came 1st out of Blackrock in the schools' Vocab Express competition. Blackrock College came 6th overall. Well done to all involved.
- Gaisce Hike - Some people still haven't paid the money for their hike. Ms.Payne will be helping Ms.Nulty with Gaisce this year and will be at morning check-in on Mondays to check on the involvement of the students.
- The Studio Managers of BCR 2011 are Chris Butler and Joe Horan.
- George Brassil is now the Head of Adverstising for BCR. Darragh Larkin is the head of the Technical Team. Jack Callaghan is the P.A. of Mr.Sullivan, Simon Curran is the P.A. of Ms.Nulty and Cormac Stafford is the P.A of Mr.Brennan
- Some of the Application cards this week have very few marks. If you have few marks please talk to your teacher and ask them to mark it.
- If you do not have an English book and you need one please contact Ms.Nulty.
- The first Lecture of the Lecture Series took place last Friday. You must fill in the designated section in your Log Book after each Lecture.
- Remember: Cyclists must wear helmets when cycling to and from school. This is a Legal Requirement as well as school policy. If you are not wearing a helmet, you may have your bike confiscated.
- There is a maths lecture in the RDS on Friday (21/10). The list of people going will be posted later today.
- Corry is doing well in hospital and is now at home. His condition is not as severe as previously thought. Corry would be very happy to have some visitors if you want to visit him. Thanks for your support.
- Parent-Teacher meetings for TY are next Tuesday (25th)
