- The last Gaisce hike takes place on the 25th of November. A few places are left. Some people have not paid their fee yet.
- Some cards have unusual comments this week. If there are any changes which influence detentions etc., please notify me as soon as possible.
- BCR sign out sheet must be used if leaving the premises
- Benin Casa continues this week. Do not forget to turn up for your slot. The same applies to those involved in the Friday evening Junior Arch club
- December 10th. Looking for 5 volunteers to help with children’s Christmas party on Sat December 10th. Children from Holy Family School
- The Results are back from the Junior Cert appeals. Congratulations to the following students: Sean Byrne, Simon Curran, Eoin Fanning, Cormac Fenton, Eoin Galligan, Fred Kenny, Robert Love, Sebastian McKimm who all received upgrades
- House Point system comes into effect. Forms will be distributed today. Please fill them in accurately and return them to your House Reps at afternoon check-in.
- ohn Forrest has signed lots of Gaisce books. If anybody needs his book signed, please make sure to give it to me before the next hike.
- A lot of people have borrowed money. Must repay debts. THE TY BANK IS CLOSED!
- Behaviour on the 2nd year corridor has been unsatisfactory. Mr Hurl has given disciplinary marks to several students. You must set a good example to second years.
- Meetings continue this week for BCR groups. Keep an eye on the notice board. News Team 5.15 Monday; Guests and Requests 1.30 in 43 Room
- Congratulations to the rowing team who did very well last week in a competition on the Blessington lakes.
FORTHCOMING EVENTS
- Preparations for the 24hr Soccer Marathon begin this week. Sponsorship cards will be distributed this week and you are expected to make some money, no matter how small the amount is.
- Preparations are beginning for the Christmas Tree Project also. If interested in helping out with the Christmas tree project, you need to apply to Ms Nulty in writing by the end of this week.
- School show takes place this week. ‘Casablanca’ Starts this evening. €15 each night; 5 for €60.00. Available at check-in via house reps.
- Pat Henry will be giving a lecture on December 9th. Very popular speaker.
